Kyou wa asa lesson ga arimasen deshita. Sorede, asa kara undou shimashita.
Today I didn’t have lessons, so I did some exercise from the morning.

あさ(Asa):morning
うんどうします(Undou shimasu):do exercise

Watashi no uchi no chikaku ni kawa ga arimasu. Kawa zoi wo sanpo shimashita.
There’s a river near my home. I took a walk along the river.

かわ(kawa):river
さんぽします(sanpo shimasu):take a walk

Sanjuppun gurai arukimashita.
I walked around 30 mins.

ぐらい(gurai):around
あるきます(arukimasu):walk

Totemo tenki ga yokute, kimochiyokatta desu.
The weather was very good, and I felt refreshed.

てんき(tenki):weather
きもちいい(kimochi-ii):feels good / refreshed
*yokatta is the past tense of “ii=good”

Hoka nimo kawa zoi wo aruite iru hito ga takusan imashita.
There were also many other people walking along the river.

あるいているひと(Aruite-iru hito):people walking
たくさん(takusan):many

Saikin watashi wa kenkou no tameni, Fitbit o kaimashita.
Recently I bought Fitbit for my health.

けんこう(kenkou):health
かいます(kaimasu):buy

Kyou wa mou gosen-po gurai aruite imasu.
I already walked 5000 steps today.

もう(mou):already
〜歩(ほ ho/ぽ po):〜steps

Korona de amari undou shinaku narimashita ne.
Because of COVID-19 we don’t do exercise much.

Demo korekara wa, tokidoki asa arukitai desu.
But from now on, I want to walk in the morning sometimes.

Uchi ni kaette, asa gohan o tsukuri mashita.
I went home and I cooked breakfast.

つくります(tsukurimasu):cook / make

Itsumo wa pan to koohii dake desu.
Normally I eat only bread and coffee.

だけ(dake):only

Demo, kyou wa washoku no asa gohan o tsukurimashita.
But today I made a Japanese-style breakfast.

わしょく(washoku):Japanese style

Shiro gohan to natto to miso shiru to yakizakana desu.
(I ate) rice, natto, miso soup and grilled fish.

やき魚(yakizakana):grilled fish

Gohan no ato, koohii wo tsukutte nomimashita.
After meal, I made myself some coffee and drank it.

のみます(nomimasu):drink

Asa, takusan jikan ga arimasu kara, yukkuri sugosu kotoga dekimashita.
Since I had a lot of time in the morning, I could enjoy my relaxing time.

じかん(jikan):time
ゆっくりすごす(yukkuri sugosu):spend a relaxing time

Kyou mo ii ichinichi wo sugoshite kudasai ne. Dewa, mata!
